Experimenting with old comics that were stashed away for quite some time, and leftover art supplies from my days (and long nights) in studios, I was on a quest to create some unique art pieces to outfit my boys' rooms.
What started as a small project that could only be tackled during 'naptime' and the dead of night, grew into what I call handcutHERO
Finding the right image for each hand-cut piece to showcase the hero (or villain) is essential.

All letters and logos are cut by hand with a slight bevel. Each piece is then float mounted on archival board and displayed in a shadowbox frame.
